TMV is a snapshot of the Tamar Valley in any given year, from the perspective of TTT. See below for detailed vintage notes.
The TMV17 Pinot Noir features the fundamental components of our house style. It has a whole bunch backbone, 25% inclusion, which works in combination with a fresh, fruit driven lift due to partial carbonic maceration. The wine was worked very lightly during fermentation, receiving only pump overs until a few light plunges prior to pressing well before dry. Fermentation was completed in French oak barriques, 15% new. It is soft and textural on the palate, a result of lees contact for the whole duration of maturation. This wine received no finings, minimal sulphur dioxide, and bottled unfiltered.
